shit the western media won’t show you

We were all taught in school that if something like this happens within our lifetimes, it is of the utmost importance that we call it out and don’t just go along with it or look away

now theyre like “oops, we didnt mean it”

storiesfromgaza:

Today, during a police raid to take down Palestinian flags in the anti-Zionist Jewish neighborhood, Mea Shearim in Jerusalem, the Israeli policemen were recorded attacking residents and knocking residents down on the road, hitting, and punching them in the face.
P
olice violence against ultra-Orthodox Jews continues constantly, Zionists constantly attack Jews.
The only crime of
these Jews is that they stand with the Palestinian people and are against Zionism.

Do you see their savagery and their crimes against their own people?!

Also, watch this video of Israeli soldiers after they fired upon a teenage girl, leaving her wounded and abandoned by the side of the road.
They even prevented anyone from aiding her, and when a disabled man in a wheelchair couldn’t bear it any longer and rushed to help her, one of the soldiers ejected him from his wheelchair with utmost brutality.

Watch and share it to comprehend what kind of monsters these people are, as these are the things that Western media will never show you.
Because they want you to always dwell in darkness.

“Oh the media being biased/silent on Gaza is a conspiracy theory”

I am a literal journalist and this is what happened when I pitched an article to a magazine I write for:

We covered conflict before. We denounced PMs’ positions as wrong before. But this is where the editor balks - anything that makes it look even vaguely like we might, possibly, support Gaza. Even if the article itself would not have been an opinion piece, but a news feature about events on the ground.

We have free press, baby! But avoid the matter entirely if you can. It’s delicate and depressing, why would you talk about it? Don’t rock the boat. Be quiet. You don’t need to go there.

Self-censorship is alive and well.

What is this world that my parents and grandparents live in where every time there is a crisis (that has been building for decades if not centuries) they immediately cry out “Oh it’s their terrible leader XYZ, it’s such a shame” like. That is the limit of their understanding, one single figurehead. And everyone else is just an unwitting victim or innocent accomplice.

Makes me feel homicidal when people use the phrase “I need to take a bio break” instead of go to the bathroom
